I Believe in Sherlock!by ~Hatpire

The Doctor gives Sherlock some words of encouragement about his existence.

This greeting card was handmade for a friend who is a big Sherlock and Doctor Who fan, and plays on the "I believe in Sherlock!" meme that had its beginnings in Sherlock series 2.

Everything was hand-cut and assembled onto a 4x5x5" card blank. The interior is blank.

coolioz! Did you have to use templates?

I do make templates for all my art. I take my sketch into Adobe Illustrator and clean up the lines and draw the "pieces" there, then separate them out by color and print the outlines onto colored cardstock. I believe I did this card before I switched to Illustrator though, which meant drawing the original full-size, tracing over the "pieces" onto white card stock, cutting those out, then drawing each piece on its proper color and cutting it out again.

Moving to Illustrator really streamlined it for me.
