So, Anime Central was a blast--it had to be THE most fun I've ever had at the convention. I didn't really get out from behind my table all that much at Artists' Alley, but I didn't mind much. Between all the people-watching (lots of good costumes!), sneaking away for a few minutes to look at other people's tables, talking with other anime fans/geeks, and nearly selling out of shadowboxes on the first day, I had a blast. The sales were pretty nice, but I would have been equally happy if I had only broken even with the whole deal. It was so much fun and I am definitely doing it (and hopefully other conventions!) next year so long as I can still get myself a table.

I am utterly surprised and humbled by having my Doctor Who shadowbox up as a Daily Deviation. Seeing it up next to all those out-of-my-league talented artists was a real confidence boost, and logging into DA to see over 2500 messages on my notification bar just about gave me a heart attack--but in a good way! Thank you all!

I have also opened an Etsy store for my shadowboxes and other art/trinkets I've made! If there's a shadowbox you see here in my DeviantArt gallery that's not up on Etsy, I can make one to order for you! Just drop me a line through Etsy (or here, though preferably through Etsy) with what you're looking for. I don't currently take custom commissions though, so this only applies to boxes I've already done.
